Mr Edward Bache
Paediatric Orthopaedics, Hip Surgery including Hip Arthroscopy
Mr Bache qualified from Birmingham University in 1990. His Orthopaedic training was on the West Midlands training programme where he developed an interest in Childrens Orthopaedics. He gained FRCS (Trauma & Orth) in 2001 and subsequently spent a year at The Royal Childrens Hospital Melbourne. He was appointed as consultant to Birmingham Childrens hospital and The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in 2003. His practice covers a full range of paediatric Orthopaedic conditions. Since his appointment as consultant he has also developed a specific interest in dissorders affecting the young adult hip and sport related hip disease. Mr Bache has an active interest in research and developing new techniques. He has more than 20 published articles in peer reviewed journals and has edited a text book on childrens fractures.
