Mr Edward Davis
Primary and revision hip and knee replacement. Computer navigated surgery.
Mr Edward T Davis graduated from Birmingham University in 1996 and undertook his basic and higher surgical training in the West Midlands. Mr Davis undertook a year’s fellowship in revision hip and knee arthroplasty in Toronto, Canada. He holds an MSc in Trauma and a postgraduate certificate in medical education as well as the FRCS (Trauma and Orthopaedics). Mr Davis has a strong research background in both clinical and basic research, with over 50 national and international presentations and has been invited faculty at national and international meetings on hip resurfacing. Mr Davis specialises in primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty including hip resurfacing and has a particular interest in computer assisted surgery. He holds a joint NHS appointment with The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham and Dudley Group of Hospitals. He is a clinical sub-dean and module lead for orthopaedics at the University of Birmingham.
